Fees and Disbursements
My fees will depend upon the time taken and whether I have to prepare any documents or arrange legalisation. I will give you an estimate at the outset of the transaction. I do not charge VAT; a useful saving for individuals. Bear in mind that the time taken includes identifying you, checking the documents and making copies as necessary and then recording the transaction. It may also involve arranging for an Apostille to be affixed or for the document to be legalised up to a foreign Embassy. It is unusual for a transaction to take less than half an hour and my minimum fee is £130.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
- Legalisation fees charged by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and by Embassies. An Apostille currently (July 2018) costs £30 per document or £75 for the express service
- Any fees charged by Companies House
- Travelling, courier and special delivery charges
